The Spiritualist

by Robert Ford
April 29 - May 24 2015

REGIONAL PREMIERE

Rosemary Dunn is an English widow who cooks for the school lunch service and communes with the spirits of dead composers (Liszt is her favorite). When a crusading American newspaperman tries to unmask her as a fraud, the so-called “spiritualist” channels a famous rock star to prove that great music is eternal! A comic drama inspired by true events, The Spiritualist explores the tensions between art and commerce, fact and faith.

Directed by Seth Gordon
