A PICASSO OPENS THIS MONTH WITH ART, POLITICS AND A DASH OF DESIRE
Rehearsals are underway for Jeffrey Hatcher's fascinating drama A Picasso, starring Houston favorites James Belcher (a long-time Alley company member) and Carolyn Johnson (fresh from Panto Sleeping Beauty). When the legendary artist is "asked" to authenticate three works of art acquired by the Nazis, the tension between art and politics - and between Picasso and the female officer interrogating him - leads to an unforgettable battle of wits and wills.
